The Church was founded in 1846 in Cambridge, Massachusetts under the name of North Avenue Baptist Church. The name was changed to Cornerstone Baptist Church in 1944. In 1980 it was relocated to Belmont. We are here to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our purpose to lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and then disciple them in His Word.
